Product Description
Great for Tilefish and other deep sea bottomfish! Most effective when used with fresh cut strip bait, such as squid, bluefish belly, fluke belly, etc. Just drop to the bottom and slowly jig up and down a few times, then drop your rod tip down and wait. If you start feeling some nibbles, be patient and wait a few more moments before setting the hook. If you don't feel any nibbles, try raising your rod tip straight up high. Many hungry tilefish will not be shy and follow your bait all the way up and strike. If all else fails, repeat the entire process by slowly jigging up and down again. This has proven to be a very effective method of catching trophy Tilefish!
